Charlatães, zaragateiros e afins
Esta família reúne um conjunto de aves de tamanho pequeno a médio, algumas com plumagens bastante coloridas. Vivem em ambientes variados, desde florestas densas até savanas ou zonas de matos, e alimentam-se de insectos, bagas e sementes. A família é essencialmente asiática, sendo o Extremo Oriente é a região onde é possível encontrar a maior diversidade. Por serem excelentes cantoras, muitas aves desta família encontram-se ameaçadas, devido à captura para comércio ilegal.
